The meter reader reported, on August 11, 2008 (two days after Caylee’s third birthday) that he’d found a suspicious package of taped plastic bags. According to law enforcement records a deputy sheriff went to the area, but didn’t see anything. Okay.

I’m guessing that the deal is this: there’s an unknown, but greatly feared, federal law that says during a presidential election year the US media (including the internet) must not let any story supercede their coverage of US politics; politics must become the entire entertainment industry of the U. S. of A. It must be true. You just read it on the internet, didn’t you? I typed the theory on my computer, you’re reading the theory on your computer–if that doesn’t absolutely, irrefutably, prove the theory is 100% true, I don’t know what the flip would.
