The meter reader reported, on August 11, 2008 (two days after Caylee’s third birthday) that he’d found a suspicious package of taped plastic bags. According to law enforcement records a deputy sheriff went to the area, but didn’t see anything. Okay.

I smile now at the parents going through that joyous and overworked time. I wish they understood how much they do for the world. I wish they knew how important they are. I wish that the world would recognize the importance of parents and treat them with the respect they deserve, giving them rewards for making the world better for every one of us.
